This year, I wanted to make a beautiful dress for myself for Easter, and I’ve also been wanting to sew some vintage patterns. I decided to make this dress as my first for Vintage Pledge 2016. I gave myself plenty of time before Easter (a couple of weeks) and it worked out perfectly!
The moment I saw Simplicity 1373, I knew I needed to make it, but I also knew that it would make an amazing dress. So, I started planning. I bought a few yards of Cotton + Steel August Stampede in Navy, and got to work.
